Acanthothamnus, monotipski biljni rod iz porodice kurikovki. Jedina vrsta, A. aphyllus, raste po meksičkim državama Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí i Tamaulipas.
