Ceratophyllum australe, je vrsta[1] ili podvrsta voščike, jednogodišnja je biljka ili vodeni polugrm koji uglavnom raste u suptropskom biomu jugoistočnog SAD–a, Kube, središnjeg i južnog Meksika pa do Južne Tropske Amerike i Trinidada. .[2]
