Dobro došli na Wikipediju na hrvatskom jeziku, započetu 16. veljače 2003. godine – slobodnu enciklopediju!
Pozivamo vas na sudjelovanje u rastu ove svima dostupne enciklopedije na hrvatskom standardnom jeziku.
Ovdje su neke od stranica koje bi vam mogle pomoći:
- Wikipedija - što je Wikipedija, povijest i organizacija projekta
- Wikiusvajanje - pronađite mentora koji će vam pomoći u snalaženju na Wikipediji
- Izvori - kako uspješno činiti Wikipediju boljom!
- Slike - obvezno pročitati prije postavljanja bilo kakvih slika
Ako želite vježbati možete to raditi na stranici za vježbanje, u slučaju da vam zatreba pomoć učinite slijedeće:
- postavite pitanje u Kafiću, odgovor će brzo stići
- spojite se na IRC (chat): #wikipedia-hr
Svoje doprinose na člancima ne potpisujte, dok komentare na pripadajućim stranicama za razgovor, suradničkim stranicama i Kafiću molimo potpisujte tako što ćete pritisnuti gumbić 
na alatnoj traci ili napisati 4 tilde (tilda = 4x istovremeno tipke AltGr + tipka s brojem 1), što kod uređivanja izgleda ovako ~~~~.
Vlastitu suradničku stranicu (onu koja se zove "Suradnik:vaše ime") možete uređivati po svojoj želji u skladu s pravilima uređivanja suradničke stranice (npr. asketski ili šminkerski).
Molimo Vas, ne stavljajte zaštićene radove bez dopuštenja! Nemojte izravno kopirati sadržaje s drugih web stranica ako nemate izričito dopuštenje. Ako imate dopuštenje, napišite to na stranici za razgovor ili jednostavno dodajte ovdje. No, obvezno to napravite prije nego započnete s pisanjem preuzetog teksta. Molimo uočite da se svi doprinosi Wikipediji smatraju dualno licencirani, pod Creative Commons Imenovanje-Dijeli pod istim uvjetima 3.0 i GFDL licencijom. Ako ne želite da se vaše pisanje nemilosrdno uređuje i slobodno raspačava, nemojte ga ovamo slati. Također nam obećavate da ćete ono što ćete napisati sami napisati, ili ćete to prepisati iz nečeg što je u javnom vlasništvu ili pod sličnom slobodnom licencijom.

There's no need here for help from the outside. We're not a small project.
We're the project of the vivid language, project with more than 100.000 articles and with the large, very active user community. Therefore, hr.wiki is not within the scope of SWMT.
We also have our guideline about the global rollbackers and the global admins Wikipedija:Globalni uklonitelji i globalni administratori. The guideline was voted by our community. The results was against the use of the global rollback tools and the global sysop tools .
You wanted to help, but you actually gave us more unnecessary work. Just see the situation: a new user appeared and created an userpage [2] and practically "out of nowhere" appeared another, unknown user, that made solely 5 edits, and already posts the "delete" template on someone's userpage. Kind of suspicious, isn't it?
So I had to lose my time to check who posted the "delete" template.
And now I'm writing you this message, instead of patrolling.

- Dear Kubura, I apologise for any trouble I've caused. I'm only trying to help and I (still) believe there's no real need to understand the language of the projects I'm working on (for example, see this edit of mine). It actually was just a stupid mistake to mention the SWMT on my user page and I apologise for that as well. Of course this project is not a "small wiki". I've adjusted my user page. I don't see why my edit was so suspicious. I saw this user on meta.wikimedia and then checked his global contributions. All an administrator needed to do was check if the nominated page did or did not suit the policies and guidelines of the project. You don't need to investigate who tagged it with {{delete}}. Of course you may, but that's your own choice and I think I've even made things more convenient by creating a user page that tells the reader that I'm a cross-wiki contributor. Thank you for notifying me of that guideline. Although I find that vote a bit shady (no discussion, only fifteen participants, a lot of one-sided reasoning, ...), I will certainly keep it in mind when contributing to this project. - Hi Kubura, that IP belongs to a longtime Swiss vandal known as the "Astro-Troll" on the German Wikipedia. He usually edits articles related to NGC-objects. He removes interwiki-links and/or other content and he copy-pastes articles from one title to another. His edits are usually a mix of good, bad and questionable changes. If someone disagrees with his edits and undoes them, this user will start trolling: for example by threatening to remove all interwiki-links from a certain project, demanding sources (even though I've rarely seen him provide valid sources himself), incorrectly calling people vandals, ridiculously claiming you broke policies (which is just a lame attempt at avoiding your questions and intimidating you) and editwarring with various IPs/proxies. I'd advise to block him (either locally or request a global block at irc:wikimedia-stewards or m:Steward requests/Global), revert every edit you're unsure of and ignore his personal attacks.
